The School Of Narrative Dance
A travelling school that offers an alternative educational system based on empowerment, inclusion and self-education. The school takes on different formats adapting to the space that hosts it on a case-by-case basis. Over the years, the SOND has received numerous commissions including: Manifesta 12, Castello di Rivoli in 2013; MAXXI Museum in Rome in 2014; Venice Biennale of Art in 2015; Centre Pompidou in Paris, Hayward Gallery in London, Queens Museum in New York, Kunsthaus in Zurich, Shenzhen Bi-city Biennale of Urbanism/Architecture in 2017; Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice in 2018 and Magazzino Italian Art, New York in 2019. The School of Narrative Dance is the project with which the Toscani Circus will open its doors to the public, an event open to everyone with no limits to age or number of participants.
Marinella senatore
The undisputed pioneer on the international artistic scene who focuses her creative process on the individual and the community, Senatore is acclaimed for her participatory artistic approach. For more than two decades, she has been the author of an unprecedented creative process characterized mainly by the human relationship between the artist and the communities she involves. Her initiatives have a global impact and touch nerve centers all over the world: from Venice to Paris, New York to Johannesburg, São Paulo to Shenzhen, involving more than six million people in twenty-three countries in multidisciplinary ways.

• 5-hour workshop in which Marinella Senatore will direct the participants to discover their own strength, up to the point of empowerment.
• Light and vegetarian lunch, with local and high quality ingredients: tomato soup, fruit and vegetables at KM0.
• Sunset aperitif with performance by Dr San Proper, an undeniable staple in the Amsterdam music scene with a legacy built on his unique and unpredictable approach to music and a larger than life personality.

10.30 am: Arrival at the Toscani Circus Cultural Center, presentation of the participants and coffee.
11 am – 1 pm Workshop Part 1
1 pm – 3.30 pm Lunch: discovering Tuscany with light and vegetarian dishes.
3.30 pm – 5.30 pm Workshop Part 2
5.30 pm – 6 pm Interval
6 pm – 7 pm Conclusion
