COOKIE POLICY

This site makes use of cookies.

Cookies are small text files that store information about visitors’ preferences in order to improve the website’s operation, to simplify navigation by automated procedures (e.g. login, website language) and to analyze website use.

Cookies are used to provide users with a browsing experience as close as possible to their preferences and are also used to optimize the performance of the website: in fact, they make it easier to quickly find specific content on the website.

The advantage of having cookies installed on your computer/smartphone/device is that you no longer need to fill in the same information every time you want to access a previously visited website.

There are two main categories: ‘technical’ cookies and ‘profiling’ cookies.

This website uses so-called ‘technical’ cookies, for the sole purpose of transmitting a communication over an electronic network, or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of a service explicitly requested by the user, in order to provide such a service.

The use of so-called ‘technical’ cookies (session variables, the values of which are stored on the device’s hard disk and can in any event be deleted: it is possible to disable cookies by following the instructions provided by the main browsers) is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) and software usage data that is necessary in order to allow the safe and efficient exploration of the website: session variables (cookies) can avoid the use of IT techniques that could potentially compromise the confidentiality of users’ browsing and do not permit the obtainment of personal data identifying the user.

This website does not make any use of so-called ‘profiling’ cookies (aimed at creating user profiles and used to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the user while browsing the Internet).

This site uses so-called ‘third-party’ cookies, i.e. cookies aimed at receiving on a user’s device, while browsing a website, cookies sent by different sites or web servers (the information is stored by third parties).

One example is the presence of ‘social plug-ins’ for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+, YouTube, LinkedIn, whose use is aimed at sharing content on social networks (the presence of these plug-ins involves the transmission of cookies to and from all sites managed by third parties).
